In our Lost Flavors section, we offer fragrant traditional desserts prepared using Marmaris’ fresh milk, flour, eggs, honey, almonds, and walnuts. Our aim is to bring forgotten flavors back to the present day — freshly made every single day.
With this purpose in mind, we carefully select fresh and organic ingredients and stay faithful to traditional recipes in order to present these Lost Flavors to you in their most authentic form.
In our kitchen, you can discover original tastes of Marmaris freshly baked every day, such as Marmaris cookies, sesame and honey kıyam, finger dessert, and kalburabastı.
In addition, in our store section you can find products inspired by Marmaris’ pine forests, sea, and many other natural treasures.
To give a few examples: Marmaris pine honey, flower honey, and thyme honey; oils made from local herbs such as St. John’s wort, thyme, and sage; Marmaris pine cologne; special varieties of Turkish delight produced exclusively for Kapurcuk, including honey, carob, rose, almond, and peanut flavors; traditional hard candies in various aromas; embroidered scarves, shawls, and shirts made from silk, felt, and cotton; handmade traditional sandals crafted by Fevzi Master, the last remaining sandal maker of Marmaris; as well as many other objects and artworks that will remind you of Marmaris.
